The Graphic Novice team once again proves that it will not be confined to the restraints of outlines, schedules, or in some cases, reading the books we're discussing this week. While VF tries to remember how to use the internet, Nickel and Doc discuss the Joker's Daughter, an Olympic Hockey wager, twitter and the podcasting community. Self promotion and problems at the local comic shop are discussed in the Round Table Discussion, before the Rapid-Fire Review segment, and an in depth look at East of West #9. Dont miss the first appearance of My Little Pony on the Graphic Novice Podcast, as Doc starts his journey down the road to Equestria. |

The Graphic Novice boys continue their upward spiral towards comic podcasting greatness. As we master our power over all things comic review, we run down Marvels numbering reboot, discuss Samantha Micelli, and teach VF how to build fire in a wilderness survivor setting. The comic collecting round table discussion continues, but with a large helping of shaved ham, and comic storage. It all finishes up with somewhat inebriated reviews of The Fuse, Clown Fatale, and Fantastic Four #1 (1961). This one is a double stuff of comic goodness, featuring sexy clowns, pale old ladies, a strange infusion of jazz music, a 1983 issue of Playboy, and ofcourse, Baked Beans. |

After Doc proclaims his love of Monster Truck Rallies, we look back at the Graphic Novice origin story and share some of our thoughts on why we collect comics. We then attempt to review Punisher 1 and Black Science 1-3. Instead we discover that Nickel prefers his Punisher celibate and miserable, and VF proves that Doc and Nickel arent very good at reading stuff. Our highly anticipated Back Issue Review segment gets bumped to the next episode. |
